YouthStart is a NI regional wide youth employability programme that uses a youth work approach to build young people's skills for life, learning and work.

Representatives of the YouthStart Consortium met with SDLP MLA Claire Hanna in April to discuss the value of employability programmes and the impact they have had on young peoples life and work skills. The meeting included representatives of different organisations in the consortium as well as young people who have been involved in some of the programmes.

This opportunity gave young people the opportunity to share their lived experiences and talk about they want to see for the future of YouthStart.
